The Sea Patrol is one of the key rituals held during the celebration period. The procession follows the shorelines, which signifies the god checking and safeguarding the land and sea. It is performed in order to ask to have the calm waters, safe travel and well be to fishermen and coastal settlements.

At various stops during the patrol, the procession stops to provide prayers to local guardians and land deities.
