Every year from the 11th to the 13th day of the 5th Lunar Month, our temple holds the grand celebration of the Holy Birthday of Emperor Xie Tien (Guan Sheng Di Jun).
(As the Gregorian dates change every year, the celebration follows the Lunar Calendar.)
This sacred annual celebration is a day for believers to commemorate and celebrate the birthday of Xie Tian Da Di, and also an important moment to express gratitude, pray for blessings, and promote his spirit of justice, loyalty, protection, and compassion.
The general schedule is as follows:
12.00 pm. — Memorial Petition Ritual (Fa Zou), by Taoist Priests.
An official ceremony in which Taoist priests bring petitions and memorials to the skies, reporting the offerings and prayers in the temple and asking them to bring peace, blessings, and protection.
5:00 p.m. — Military Offering Ceremony (Kao Jun Ritual)
This ceremony is held by the temple to “comfort and thank the divine soldiers and generals who serve the deity.”

A simplified offering ceremony to satisfy wandering souls, cleanse the area, eliminate hindrances and pray that the celebration is peaceful and successful so that the realms of the believers and the temple can enjoy peace and protection during the birthday of the deity.
